As a former Post guy, this is so depressing. This is where Watergate became a thing. I mean, this building is two blocks away from the White House and moving it away from there means it’s not going to have that kind of significance anymore. The worst possible thing the Post could do right now is move to Arlington. It’s an old building and getting around it was like a maze, but it has its charms.

Insert the saddest emoticon ever. Time Magazine/TimeInc is looking into the same thing of its midtown Manhattan HQ.

My latest from Tumblr, in partnership with TIME — about the breakup of Abby Cadabby’s parents on Sesame Street (!). So many feels about this show.

Reposted from the @newyorkermag’s Instagram feed, which is using iPhone photographers like @ruddyroye and @BenLowy to cover the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy on the ground. As an editor, from an almost-defunct print publication (Newsweek) now at a new media company (Tumblr), it’s encouraging to see legacy brands like the New Yorker — and TIME, which is running one of Lowy’s iphone images of Sandy on its cover this week — embracing new journalistic models.

UPDATE: Lowy will be documenting the recovery efforts for Tumblr over the coming week. Tune into Storyboard for more.
